Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Solution Architect with recent experience in the banking domain, as well as expertise in Kafka, microservices, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of architecting and designing robust, scalable, and secure Java-based solutions for the banking industry, with a strong foundation in modern architectural principles and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of Java-based solutions for banking applications, incorporating Kafka, microservices, and modern architectural patterns.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for efficient and scalable solutions.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in banking technology to continuously enhance the solution architecture.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a Java Solution Architect in the banking domain, with recent hands-on experience in Kafka, Microservices, Algorithms, Data Structures, and Design Patterns.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, processes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring framework, and related technologies.
- Proven expertise in implementing Kafka for real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API design, and orchestration.
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and their application in building efficient and scalable solutions.
- Experience in applying design patterns to address common architectural challenges in banking applications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with banking-specific technologies such as core banking systems, payment processing, and transactional systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering Java-based solutions in the banking domain, with a focus on Kafka, microservices, algorithms, and design patterns.
