INTRODUCTION:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is based in San Diego to collaborate with leaders, meet with team members and immerse themselves in Callaway’s culture to promote employer branding at HQ in Carlsbad, CA. The Senior Recruiter excels at instinctively identifying and creatively sourcing talent, developing deep partnerships with leaders and candidates while being business savvy, curious, independently driven, assertive and passionate about their craft as a talent curator to support the company’s brand and growth mindset.

The Sr. Recruiter is a natural networker, has an established track record in placing talent, builds relationships and can influence managers to drive towards decisions. The Sr. Recruiter is constantly staying up to date with new technologies and the market to best understand positions when meeting with hiring managers to support our portfolio of global brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with leaders throughout the business (including Technology, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Engineering) and hiring managers to assess talent requirements and advise on the best recruiting strategy.
  • Manage a req volume of 10-15 positions at any given time and support attracting, qualifying and selecting qualified talent to fill roles under 2 months.
  • Constantly network with talent to build candidate pipelines for future growth.
  • Lead workforce planning meetings to stay proactive with HR Manager and business groups.
  • Utilize time and resources effectively and keep hiring managers, business partners and candidates up to speed on a regular basis for an exceptional experience.
  • Develop innovative search techniques to meet and exceed the hiring manager’s requirements to attract passive candidates.
  • Conduct detailed behavioral-based interviews via phone or virtual to assess technical capabilities and skills to be successful in Callaway with ever-changing growth.
  • Utilize branding to attract passive candidates to support progressive recruiting efforts.
  • Challenge the status quo to support new ways of thinking for recruiting, Ex AI.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal customers and work collaboratively with HR team.
  • Lean thinking to improve end-to-end talent process and always be thinking what next.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 6 years recruiting experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, required.
  • Experience recruiting highly skilled technical talent (SAP) supporting technology and finance business units in the California market preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing technical talent with the ability to efficiently manage an average of 20 requisitions.
  • Skilled in offer negotiation, awareness of work authorization process and employment market trends.
  • Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate the talent landscape and assisting them with assessment.
  • The ability to lead projects to successful conclusion – balancing efficiency with quality.
  • A combination of corporate and agency/executive search experience is preferred.
  • Pro-active, energetic, self-assured professional with high personal integrity and ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Tenacious and adept at managing communications and relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong self-starter with ability and desire to work with limited supervision.
