Job Title: Sr. Purchasing Agent (Fully Onsite)
Location: Alameda, CA
Temp to Hire
Compensation: $37 to $39/hour
Work Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Parking: Free onsite parking
Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order Processing: Convert requisitions to purchase orders using Oracle Fusion.
  
• Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, ensure certifications are up-to-date, and handle orders.
  
• Document Management: Maintain accurate records for purchasing and compliance.
  

Additional Duties:

• Collaborate with accounting to verify deliveries and ensure payment processing.
  
• Source and purchase materials such as steel, canvas, rubber siding, and pipe fittings for ship repair projects.
  
• Ensure accurate invoicing and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Work closely with project managers to fulfill procurement needs.
  

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
  
• Strong Excel skills for data management.
  
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion.
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Background in steel, electrical parts, or pipe fitting industries.
  
• Experience with international purchasing, especially for commercial paint (e.g., PPG).
  

Pay Details: $37.00 to $39.00 per hour
