Now you have the opportunity to join our partner as a Head of IT .

Main tasks:
  • People Management, Engagement, Development: Encourage Chapter Leads to continuously develop their capabilities and competencies to always remain up-to-market in their field.
  • Oversee overall IT engineering maturity across chapters and drive continuous development.
  • Ensure Tech organisation health (OHI) is reviewed, action plans defined and executed to monitor and improve people engagement.
  • Oversee organisation model ensuring effective recruitment and development practices.
  • IT Strategy and Architecture: Define and implement the Tech strategy in line with the bank IT strategy and target operating model.
  • Monitor market innovations and trends for potential adoption in alignment with IT strategy.
  • Ensuring alignment with bank IT architecture standards and practices.
  • IT Prioritisation, Planning, Delivery: Through eight direct reports, management of delivery of IT development and operational services for several IT service.
  • Ensuring annual objective setting in alignment with Wholesale Bank and Tech objectives.
  • Ensuring quarterly prioritisation and planning in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensuring engagement and delivery timeliness and quality through use of company's One Agile Way of Working framework and practices.
  • Use of metrics to monitor and continuously improve delivery to ensure availability, reliability of systems and services and timeliness and quality of change.
  • Financial Management: Ensuring effective dynamic planning, budgeting and cost governance, tracking and control.
  • Optimising technology TCO through efficient use of technology, human resources and supplier services.
  • IT Security and Risk Management: IT custodianship of Wholesale Banking applications and keeping IT Risk within company's risk appetite.
  • Complying with IT Security, Audit, SOx and regulatory requirements. Ensure application of the bank’s Cyber Security strategy.
  • Culture and Agile Way of Working: Ensuring adoption and ongoing maturity of company's Agile Way of Working.
  • Act as an ambassador and role model for company culture.
  • Stimulate effective cross-border interaction between and alignment across people, tribes, squads, areas and chapters.
  • Drive cross-cultural collaboration and champion diversity and inclusivity.
  • Create an atmosphere in which everyone feels appreciated and heard.
  • Regulator Senior Managers & Certification Regime: Following handover and embedding this role will be regulator SMF (Senior Management Functions) designated.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor/undergraduate degree.
  • 10+ years in IT leadership roles, accountable for delivery of IT service in global, regulated Financial Services organisations.
  • Fluent English verbal and written.
  • Ability to engage, collaborate with and manage senior business stakeholders.
  • Track record in transformation and increasing performance and organizational health by applying Agile at scale and BusDevOps principles.

Advantages:

  • Banking industry experience, previous regulator responsible.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • Cyber Security certification (such as CISM, CISSP, CCSP).
  • IT Service Management certification (such as ITIL).
  • Agile certification (such as PMI-Agile, ScrumMaster, SAFe).
  • Management and Leadership certification.
