Description
Verily is seeking a Product Lead in its Clinical Research Solutions business. This position will be directly supporting Verily’s early stage growth solutions and responsible for patient matching and derivative products.
As a Product Lead, you will own the strategy, roadmap and execution of Verily’s patient & trial matching software, with accountability for both execution and direction of multiple workstreams. You will define and launch product solutions to address complex user needs, synthesizing high-level insights from formative research, market gaps, or cutting-edge technical insights, and build compelling narrative in support of a product decision and direction. This is a unique opportunity that will allow a Product Lead to join and partner with the commercial and engineering organizations, building consensus on the overall product direction.
Responsibilities
- Set our priorities and product roadmap within your key ownership areas based on a deep understanding of the user, market, competitive landscape, and relevant adjacent technologies.
- Support commercial and client engagement interactions with both prospects and existing clients.
- Own agile requirements and execution process, working directly with one or more engineering crews to document, manage, track successful deployment of specific software features.
- Author detailed product requirements documentation to ensure alignment across functions and increase velocity of throughput.
- Support the quality assurance process by performing internal acceptance testing on features and bug fixes before they are released; present new product functionality/enhancements to stakeholders in regular sprint reviews, and demos and partner with product design.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience and BA/BS Degree required.
- Experience in the healthcare technology or life sciences industry.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills - ability to communicate with internal teams, external clients and other stakeholders to gain an understanding of their clinical research needs and the ability to translate those efficiently to software requirements and stories.
- Demonstrated ability to organize complex information and facilitate workflow across multiple teams including leadership.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and frameworks (scrum/kanban) and experience with continuous integration/delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- An understanding of clinical trial management and related software applications and clinical data.
- Experience with complex SaaS applications.
- Experience working with software development tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in integration and interoperability between systems such as EHRs.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
