Our client, a pharmacy located on the north side of Indianapolis, is seeking a General Manager who will manage the pharmacy operations and support a patient and client base focused on the pharmaceutical needs for long-term care settings. This base includes skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, group homes and the intellectually and developmentally disabled community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE GENERAL MANAGER
- Lead a team of dedicated managers, pharmacists and operational leads in the pursuit and delivery of exceptional error free pharmacy service
- Assist in defining, managing and tracking quarterly key imperatives, departmental goals, operating metrics, annual budgets and long-range strategic goals and objectives
- Act as a liaison with customers, including coordinating start-up activities for new customers
- Develop and foster team culture and develop strong rapport with team members
- Conduct performance reviews, establish development plans in alignment with goals and objectives, and participate in determination of pay increases
- Participate in formulating and administering company policies
- Facilitate and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS FOR THE GENERAL MANAGER
- Pharmacist or Certified Technician with 3+ years of closed door pharmacy management experience, ideally supporting a long-term care client base
- Pharmacists will also be considered for Lead Pharmacist and Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities
- 8+ years of direct supervisory/management experience
- Excellent problem solving and management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- FrameworkLTC and Docutrack operating knowledge and experience preferred
- Basic accounting and intermediate computer skills
- Lean six sigma experience preferred
