Reporting to the Coordinator Safety & Training, this role supports the implementation and running of training on site.

This role is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:

  • This role supports the Safety and Training Coordinator with the implementation and running of training on site.
  • Ensure all aspects of training are met for job-specific roles, and that all employees, both Surface and Underground, are compliant.
  • Oversee and ensure all training compliance is conducted in line with our Training management process.
  • Maintain compliance and ensure personnel have the necessary skills/training for their work area within the Mining industry.

About you:

  • 2 years’ experience in a Safety and Training role.
  • Cert IV TAE40116 Training and Assessing.
  • Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety (Desirable).
  • Minimum 10 years mining (Underground and/or Processing) experience in an Operator or Safety position.
  • Experience in Safety & Training management programs such as SuccessFactors LMS, INX (Desirable).
  • Computer literate and capable of working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • ICAM Fundamentals (Desirable).
  • Prepare, maintain, and test response equipment (Desirable).
