Position: Bookkeeper
Reports to: Financial Manager

The Bookkeeper is responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, daily accounting entries, and monthly financial reports for our clients.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following but are not limited to:
Record accounts payable invoices.
Follow up on all invoices to assure timely payment.
Record all revenues and payments in proper classes and accounts for specified clients.
Reconcile bank statements for specified clients.
Reconcile the monthly credit card statement.
Prepare and deposit checks.
Prepare monthly financial reports for specified PMG clients.
Provide support, information, worksheets, etc. to auditors to assist them in auditing PMG client records.
Prepare mailing of 1099 tax forms for specified PMG clients.
Support and assist on special projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Prefer a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or another related field.
Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience is highly desirable.
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software and excel is highly desirable.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to interact with PMG clients and their members on a professional level.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position is in an office setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions. On occasion, the individual must be able to do moderately demanding physical activity such as handling and opening boxes weighing 35-40 pounds, standing and walking extensively throughout the day.
