Global Sales Operations Manager, Startups

We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager possessing technical, financial, and business operations skill sets to partner with the global Startups Segment team and play a key role in supporting the Startups business on AWS.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency across the Startups Segment. Your primary focus will be on:
Executive Insights:
- Partner with business analytics counterparts to develop and maintain comprehensive reporting and dashboards to track key performance metrics, sales pipeline, and revenue.
- Leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with teams across the Startups business to provide data-backed recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
Revenue & Forecast Management:
- Assist in management of the sales forecasting process, analyzing trends and variances to provide accurate and timely projections.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
- Identify and address any operational roadblocks impacting the sales team's ability to close deals and progress pipeline.
Process Optimization:
- Streamline and standardize sales operations processes to drive consistency and scalability.
- Implement tools and technologies to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity.
- Document and socialize best practices to enable the broader team.
As a key member of the global Startup Sales Operations team, you will have a direct impact on the success of startups leveraging AWS to scale their businesses. By applying your sales operations expertise, you will help teams across the global Startups Segment build deeper relationships with their customers, engaging with startups earlier and more often, and deliver the passion and expertise that they demand. Your work will directly contribute to the growth and success of the Startups Segment, a strategic priority for the broader AWS business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.
- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience and intermediate to advanced SQL experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the startup ecosystem, to include the role of venture capital firms and accelerators/incubators in driving startup success.

The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
