About the Job

The Logistics Manager at ONEH2 oversees 24/7 logistics and delivery operations, ensuring seamless coordination across North American logistics and transportation teams. The role is responsible for recruiting, staffing, and managing a high-performing logistics team while implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and performance. A key aspect of the position involves close collaboration with Transportation Officers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support customer and production needs. The Logistics Manager ensures compliance with DOT & FMCSA regulations, audits truck and trailer records, and supports asset management. Additionally, this role is integral in facility management, conducting audits, and utilizing Wrike/Upkeep for operational tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily logistics and delivery operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Recruit, staff, and manage a logistics team, ensuring adequate staffing levels for smooth operations.
  • Lead all North American Logistics and Transportation Officers, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics operations and reduce costs.
  • Support communication with customers and HFI to ensure alignment with their requirements.
  • Conduct daily team meetings, documenting meeting minutes and tracking action items.
  • Assist Transportation Officers in coordinating driver communication and planning for transportation needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for supplier communications as needed.
  • Audit truck and trailer records, ensuring certifications and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support for carrier and trailer builds to meet operational needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support production requirements and ensure logistics alignment.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for H2 processes to standardize operations.
  • Assist in the management of logistics facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Audit yard conditions and ensure proper implementation of 5S principles.
  • Develop and deliver performance reviews for the logistics team to encourage growth and accountability.
  • Use Wrike and Upkeep for managing daily operations, task tracking, and reporting.
  • Perform HR-related tasks, including the use of ISOLVED for staff management.
  • Be familiar with DOT, FMCSA Regulations and Documentation.
  • Be familiar with OneH2 Transportation Assets and Asset Utilization.
  • Maintain daily communication with the General Manager of Operations & Maintenance at OneH2, to align on operational needs.
  • Perform any other tasks as required to support the logistics and operations team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in logistics management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, fleet management, and transportation systems.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
