The Business Relationship Manager (BRM), Information Technology (IT), plays a key role as a strategic advisor and liaison between the IT Team and the rest of the business (Offices, Divisions and Business Units) across the US and Canada. The primary responsibility is to align technology solutions, strategies, and initiatives with the overall goals of the organization.

Primary Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Deep knowledge and previous experience in finance, HR & IT with the implementation or adoption of at least one of these applications (Microsoft 365, Concur, ADP, BST, Builterra, FileHold, Traincaster).
  • Facilitates effective communication, prioritizes digital projects that offer the most business value and oversees the Digital Projects Portfolio Management.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, set clear objectives, and oversee the end-to-end execution of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Allocate resources, including budgets, personnel, and technology assets, to maximize project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Identify potential risks and obstacles that could impede project progress and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure that the digital solutions and technologies implemented meet predefined quality standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Manage the organizational and cultural shifts that often accompany digital implementations, helping employees adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Streamline and standardize processes end to end with a focus on continuously improving them by obtaining feedback and lessons learned on current implementations.
  • Add wording regarding manual/bottlenecks for process improvements.
  • Strong presentation skills, collaboration, teamwork, strategic thinking and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication or a related discipline.
  • Professional experience as a BRM IT with a minimum of five (5) years' experience or more as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or a similar experience.
  • Experience in Project Management, Business Requirements gathering, Process Mapping and Project Portfolio Management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization and to build trust, negotiate and influence relationships with senior management.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills to identify and recommend technology solutions that align with the needs of the business.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT industry, trends, best practices, and standards.
  • Strong understanding of technology strategy and delivery methodologies.
