Skills

  • 8+ years of electrical engineering design experience in building services and construction industry
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit
  • Familiarity with computational analysis tools for electrical fault analysis and lighting design
  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, with experience presenting to ‘c-suite’ stakeholders
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineers on various projects
  • Produce detailed design drawings, electronic models, and specifications
  • Manage the workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians
  • Prepare technical specifications and monitor the financial performance of projects
  • Mentor junior Electrical Engineers and ensure adherence to compliance and building codes
  • Organize technical and financial proposals for new work
  • Maintain an overview of the project team’s workload and commitments

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred
  • LEED AP accreditation preferred
  • Strong background in large project sectors such as Higher Education, Museums, and Transportation Hubs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Experience Requirements

  • At least 8 years of electrical engineering design experience in commercial and large-scale projects
