Manager, Creative Licensing
Are you passionate about music and media? We're seeking a dynamic Manager, Creative Licensing to bring creativity and energy to our team! In this role, you'll work closely with clients to deliver top-tier music solutions, curate playlists, and spot fresh opportunities in TV and film. You'll be on the pulse of industry trends, collaborating with our music team to craft the perfect soundtracks/playlists. Plus, you'll network at industry events, manage our monthly TV Newsletter, and drive growth through strategic insights. What You’ll Be Doing.
- Daily interaction with clients serving their creative music needs, including a very large repertoire of playlists, bins, and samplers to support client productions.
- Research productions in development and upcoming seasons of existing shows to provide new business opportunities for the sales team to pitch to.
- Assess current trends within the market and upcoming show needs to write briefs that provide guidance and feedback for the music production team.
- Attend events and gatherings to meet and build relations across the industry.
- Administrative tasks within the CRM – registering new accounts, updating contacts, keeping track of the creative queue.
- Collaborate with team members across all functional areas to ensure that our client’s needs are served.
- Contribute insight, creative direction, and a passion for media to accomplish team goals and facilitate growth within the TV & Film landscape.
- Ownership of our monthly TV Newsletter to market our new and existing artists to our clients.
Must-Haves
- Strong understanding of production music and/or synch, as well as a wide pool of general music knowledge, with exceptional critical listening skills and ability to field music search briefs effectively.
- Work experience at a production music library, at a publisher, in sync licensing, or receiving/sending pitches for a music house/music supervisor.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, masterful at multi-tasking, and unphased by deadline-sensitive projects.
- Dependable team player with a strong work ethic who cares deeply about the quality of their output.
- Connects well with other departments to foster open communication, collaboration, and department awareness.
It’s a plus if you have previous experience with CRM systems (e.g. Dynamics365, Salesforce).
It’s a plus if you have knowledge of music theory or music history!

Pay Range
$68,000 – $74,750 per annum. The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
