We are now hiring for an Engineering Technician I.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Engineering Technician I is responsible for developing Technical Data Packages and supporting their assembly for all new and existing products.
- Interpret and convert customer technical data for Data Bus, RF, Point-to-Point wire harnesses to manufacturing documentation for building high quality products.
- Provide support to Production teams.
- Problem solves and troubleshoots internal production or customer design issues.
- Recommends corrective or preventive actions to improve product quality or reliability.
- Associate's degree or 1 year of related experience.
- Knowledgeable in industry drawing standards and military specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and technical writing.
- Experience with wire harness assembly.
- Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling software.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified company
- Familiarity with electrical interconnects, integration, and systems for aerospace equipment.
- Familiarity working with program requirements, wire connection lists, wire gauge sizing, and connector selection.
- Certification in IPC-620 and/or J-STD-001
- Be team-minded and ready to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural, fast-moving, and complex/technical environment.
- Possess strong work ethic with effective communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
