B GARAGE was founded in 2017 by a Ph.D. graduate from Stanford University. After having spent over five years researching robotics, computer vision, aeronautics, and drone autonomy, the founder and team set their minds on building a future where aerial robots would become an integral part of our daily lives without anyone necessarily piloting them. Mission of the Role
In the future, drones will be utilized across various industries and become an essential part of our daily lives. Our goal is to change people's perception of drones and expand the horizons of drone applications. We are looking for an IT Manager to join our team as a key player in driving design excellence. As an IT Manager/System Administrator you will be at the forefront of our Operations initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT infrastructure, user account provisioning and client support and network Integration, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position demands strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience : 5-10 years of experience in system administration or a similar role, with a focus on managing Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
Technical Skills : Proficient in Linux command-line administration and network configuration. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, AWS, Zoom, and Parallels is preferred.
Certifications : Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Soft Skills : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Travel : Willingness to travel to client sites, including out-of-state travel, as required to conduct network surveys and assist with setup or integration of IT infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a startup environment.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, Google Workspace).
