CAT Scan Tech Compensation
The pay for this position is $70.00 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
CAT Scan Tech Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
The required availability for this position is
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 9 PM - 7 AM (overnight including call)
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday: 7 PM - 8 AM (overnight including call)
CAT Scan Tech Responsibilities
Triage procedures according to the daily schedule as assigned.
Coordinate emergency and unscheduled procedure requests.
Assign staff for efficient workflow and patient safety.
Communicate patient status with all departments.
Ensure immediate patient transport post-procedure.
Assess patient ability to tolerate contrast and screen for allergies/medication incompatibilities.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the working area.
Notify Coordinator or Lead of equipment malfunctions.
Adhere to QA/QC requirements and protocols for venipuncture and power injector usage.
Process images in PACS/RIS system per established protocols, especially for urgent cases (e.g., Code Grey, Trauma).
CAT Scan Tech Requirements
Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
ARRT RT (R)-ARRT RT (CT)-NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License.
BLS Certification.
HS diploma/GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
