Qualifications

Applicants must possess IT related experience demonstrating EACH of the four IT Specialist competencies AND one year of specialized experience as described below:

  1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
  2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations.
  3. Oral Communication - Effectively expresses information to individuals or groups, taking into account the audience and nature of the information.
  4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

CU-13 Level Requirements:

  1. Deploying and testing the system configurations against security standards associated with:
  • Endpoint Management using Mobile Device Management (MDM) such as Intune, MAAS 360, or Mobile Iron
  • Windows 10, Windows 11, Apple iPhone and/or Apple iPad
  • PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph
  • Virtual Desktops such as VMware horizon/workstation, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Deploying secure MDM-managed devices (e.g. laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and/or tablets).
  • Testing secure baseline policies using Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks and/or Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • CU-14 Level Requirements:

    1. Delivering, testing, and implementing the system configurations against security standards associated with:
    • Endpoint Management using Mobile Device Management (MDM) such as Intune, MAAS 360, or Mobile Iron
    • Windows 10, Windows 11, Apple iPhone and/or Apple iPad
    • PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
    • Virtual Desktops such as VMware horizon/workstation, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Deploying secure MDM-managed devices (e.g. laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and/or tablets).
  • Implementing secure baseline policies using Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks and/or Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
