DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. "A" OPERATOR has been trained to run all of the equipment and jobs within the department.
2. Under the direction of the shift manager or instruction of a team leader, the production operator will be assigned to run production and / or make adjustments to the equipment upon which he has been trained.
3. The operator must have the ability to read, write and perform arithmetic. The operator is responsible for the production counts being reported accurately.
4. Must maintain a safe, clean, orderly and hazard-free work area, promote safety at all times and have knowledge of all safety rules, seeing that all work is done in a safe manner.
5. Must comply with Wayne Metals, LLC quality system requirements, defect/error prevention and waste reduction. Will be trained and use SPC systems in place for production operations.1st, Nth, last piece, and dual signature in process inspection.
6. The production operator must follow the procedure for labor entry closely and advise his / her superior when there is a problem.
7. The operator is responsible to remove all old tags, move tickets, part identification of any kind from the container before starting to use it.
