We are an award-winning custom home builder based in St. Louis, Missouri seeking an experienced Estimator / Construction Manager to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and managing the construction process from inception to completion, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality homes that meet their specifications and budget. What we offer:
- Competitive Compensation Package: $80,000-$125,000 (based on experience).
- Profit Sharing
- Quality of Life Schedule: Monday-Friday, no weekends!

Key Responsibilities:
Estimator Role:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom home projects, including materials, labor and overhead.
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and scope.
- Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and ensure accuracy.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of costs for future reference.
Construction Management Role:
- Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Address any issues or changes that arise during the construction process, adjusting plans as necessary.
We’re it, if this is you:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience as an estimator and construction manager in the custom home building industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Proficient in construction management software and estimating tools.
