Description
As Trust and Compliance Program Specialist for Verily's Trust and Compliance team, you will support the management of the Company's comprehensive compliance program. This role, together with other members of the Trust & Compliance Office and other risk functions, will champion an enterprise-wide culture of compliance and provide effective guidance to internal and external business partners. This vital role will also assist building compliance capabilities to navigate the complex regulatory framework of a health tech company.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Description
As Trust and Compliance Program Specialist for Verily's Trust and Compliance team, you will support the management of the Company's comprehensive compliance program. This role, together with other members of the Trust & Compliance Office and other risk functions, will champion an enterprise-wide culture of compliance and provide effective guidance to internal and external business partners. This vital role will also assist building compliance capabilities to navigate the complex regulatory framework of a health tech company.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of the Company's comprehensive compliance program, including annual risk assessments, auditing and monitoring, conflicts of interest, vendor management, hotline, and internal investigations.
- Develop, implement, and track policy and training activities related to new or revised global corporate and U.S. Healthcare Compliance requirements, including Verily's Code of Conduct, anti-bribery & anti-corruption, trade compliance, and interactions with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Provide support to the business and product teams with respect to regulatory and policy requirements.
- Program manage the team's work plans,
- Ensure effective cross-functional communication, and reporting of key priorities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent, plus 3-4+ years of experience as a compliance professional or in the life sciences or healthcare industry and knowledge of relevant healthcare laws and regulations.
- Experience developing and maintaining compliance processes and tools (e.g., conflicts of interest).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee and manage vendors/consultants, work effectively cross-functionally, handle multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and develop process efficiencies.
- Experience drafting, creating, and enhancing policies, training content, guidance, and communications in a complex legal and regulatory framework.
- Experience providing support to business or products teams on a broad range of compliance issues, including interactions with healthcare professionals, government officials, and patient groups.
- Experience conducting or supporting internal investigations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
