ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Director of Facilities to oversee the overall operation of our Facilities Departments. This role includes managing equipment and utility consumption for the Casino, Hotel, and all off-site and leased properties. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal functionality and efficiency, driving a commitment to excellence in facility management across the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implements employee training and responsibilities for assigned areas.
- Implements an energy conservation and awareness program.
- Develops and applies Preventive Maintenance programs for all equipment.
- Cross-trains managerial/supervisory staff in all phases of mechanical plant operations.
- Tracks all utility and operational costs.
- Oversees all Consultants & Contract Services and manages all construction projects up to $250,000.
- Works closely with Design & Construction Department on projects over $250,000.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate or equivalent experience in facilities/EVS areas is required.
- Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in hotel/casino or similar commercial operation is required.
- Technical training in HVAC pneumatic controls is essential.
- Minimum of five years in the field of Environmental Services in a management capacity is required.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must have the ability to make sophisticated business decisions/supporting arguments; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to lead a professional team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
