Editorial Team Leader

The Woodstock Independent is seeking a part-time Editorial Team Leader to coordinate editorial content across print, digital, and social media channels. The primary responsibilities of the Editorial Team Leader will be:

1. Developing, sourcing, and writing news and feature copy.
2. Overseeing a network of stringers assigned to categories such as features, breaking news, sports, etc.
3. Ensuring editorial content is edited according to AP style standards.
4. Contributing creative ideas for improving all facets of the organization.

A successful Editorial Team Leader will be a team player who exchanges ideas in a collaborative, respectful manner, exhibits a strong attention to detail and a desire to get it right, and organizes the contributions of a diverse team into content that is consistently excellent.
