Position Overview: As a Clothing Lead, you will assume a leadership role within the clothing area of the store, providing guidance and support to the sales team. You will contribute to the achievement of sales targets, deliver consistent customer service, and ensure the store operates efficiently. Your experience, product knowledge, and leadership skills will help drive sales and maintain a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Team Support:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the store associates, serving as a resource for product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Coach and train sales associates, helping them develop effective selling skills, customer service, and product expertise.
- Lead by example in delivering great customer service, actively engaging with customers and assisting in sales transactions.
- Assist with resolving customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Create a welcoming and customer-friendly environment, ensuring customers receive personalized attention and assistance.
- Assist customers in finding clothing items that meet their needs, preferences, and style.
- Provide fashion advice, help with sizing and fit, and offer complementary clothing recommendations.
- Ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Sales and Merchandising:
- Actively engage with customers to identify their clothing preferences, styles, and purchasing intentions.
- Utilize product knowledge to showcase the features, benefits, and unique selling points of clothing items.
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary clothing pieces, accessories, or promotional items.
Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation:
- Assist in creating visually appealing displays, ensuring clothing racks, shelves, and mannequins are well-organized and enticing.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to implement and maintain effective displays and product placements.
- Monitor and replenish stock on the sales floor, ensuring appropriate sizes, styles, and quantities are available to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the sales floor, fitting rooms, and surrounding areas.
Cash Handling and Operational Tasks:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and issue receipts to customers.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation, inventory counts, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to operational procedures, policies, and loss prevention guidelines.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the store manager, team members, and other stakeholders, relaying information and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as merchandising and inventory management, to optimize store operations.
- Provide feedback and insights on customer preferences, product performance, and sales trends to support decision-making.
