What Will You Be Doing?

The Senior Analyst, Marketing Analytics will be a key member in the creation of a team that will drive max revenue potential from Marketing initiatives - while mitigating costs. This position will also be responsible for, or involved in, the forecasting, analytics, and optimization of all Frontier marketing, loyalty, distribution, and third-party initiatives. As part of the Marketing Analytics team – the Senior Analyst will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing analytical reporting for the marketing department. This position will also serve as the primary liaison with strategic planning, PRM, IT, accounting, and Finance in relation to the development, analysis, optimization and distribution of all marketing products, promotions and processes.

Essential Functions

  • Develop modeling and apply statistical techniques to provide ongoing analytical reporting for the general marketing, loyalty, and distribution departments
  • Utilize SQL, R, Power BI and other database access or analytics programing to access, analyze, and interpret data in Navitaire ODS, GA 360, Oracle and related databases utilized by Frontier
  • Utilize third party data platforms and portals from Frontier’s partners to access, combine and analyze partner data in conjunction with Frontier’s internal data sources
  • Explore, develop, and implement internal modeling or third-party programs to optimize marketing initiatives and merchandizing of commercial products
  • Institute testing processes and reporting to maximize the benefits of all marketing, sales, and distribution efforts
  • Develop modeling and reporting to measure the financial performance of all marketing, distribution, and sales efforts
  • Support Frontier’s tactical marketing strategy surrounding the development, testing, and execution of marketing campaigns. This includes web promotions, e-mail campaigns, statement messaging, event marketing, inflight promotions, sponsorships, and digital optimization
  • Support team responsible for contracting, development, pricing, forecasting, and analysis surrounding Frontier’s loyalty, distribution, and third-party product offerings.
  • Support forecasting efforts of all marketing functions including traditional marketing, e-commerce, digital marketing, sales, distribution, loyalty, and third-party partnerships
  • Work closely with Commercial (marketing, e-commerce, network planning, RM & pricing) Technology, Executive Management, and Policy stakeholders to successfully develop, manage and optimize internal and third-party ancillary products.
  • Develop decision processes surrounding potential new products including identifying product opportunities, financial analysis, regulatory review, and development of business requirements.
  • Employ varied techniques to address and assess new and complex commercial considerations which are beyond the scope of current transactional data analysis. 
  • Maintain a good understanding of developments among competitive and imitable firms and, more broadly, in the strategic and business development landscape, including perspectives from other companies, industries, and thinkers to enhance products, customer-centricity, decision making, and strategic development capability, and help disseminate throughout the business.
  • Act as liaison between other departments for marketing analytics
  • Troubleshooting data issues
  • Occasional Marketing department initiatives to promote the airline brand generally, including off-site and airport events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative related field (Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Information Management, Statistics), Master’s Degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (PowerBI, Tableau), databases (SQL, Access), and programming (R, Python)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel: Regression, Correlation, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience with partnership relations preferred.

Salary Range

$72,000 - $100,000
