An aerospace client is looking for a Logistics Support Coordinator who will support all warehouse operations and inventory control stock, store, and receiving functions for contractor-owned materials as well as government-furnished property.

Location: Elkridge, MD 21075 (On-site)

Position: Logistics Support Coordinator

Pay Rate : $18.82+/hr. on W2 (negotiable)

Duration : 12 months or longer

Schedule: 5x8 (M-F)

Shift : 1st or 2nd Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Material Processor/Logistics Support Coordinator to support our Receiving and Inventory Team at our Troy Hill Campus for the Elkridge, Maryland location.
  • The Receiving and Inventory Team are responsible for supporting all warehouse operations and inventory control stock, store, and receiving functions for contractor owned materials as well as government furnished property.
  • The Material Processor/Logistics Support Coordinator Role and Responsibilities will include:
  • Use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
  • Receive incoming materials from vendors and from manufacturing.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory including identify special stock requirements and segregating accordingly.
  • Process Material Receipts
  • Pull Material to support manufacturing work in progress (WIP) and Contract End Items (CEI)
  • Satisfy Material Requests
  • Perform physical cycle counts per CM and MMAS standards. Reconcile stock and process necessary adjustments. Identify, communicate, and process physical inventory loss per CM and in support of Northrop and Government/Customer owned property.
  • Execute process compliance during internal and external process audits
  • Should be well organized, effective working independently as well as in a group environment, able to handle multiple assignments, possess good oral and written communication skills and have an understanding of Microsoft products.
  • Should be detail-oriented and possess a strong understanding of commitment to overall mission.
  • Should possess the ability to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, logistics, warehouse or similar role
  • Able to obtain and keep a forklift operating license.
  • Must be able to lift to 35 lbs.
  • Experience with Microsoft products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience with SAP, GOLD, and ISE/CADSTAR
  • Knowledge of DD Form 1149, DD Form 250
