We’re looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

The Senior Platform Engineer has substantial experience with hybrid-infrastructure developer platforms. This engineer is proficient in deploying Kubernetes and automating platform management. The engineer is adept at developing platform APIs and is comfortable hosting containerized applications. They provide mentoring to less experienced engineers and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience, including working with cloud native solutions, federal network engineering best practices, automated work testing, and monitoring tools.
  • Solid working experience troubleshooting network related latency issues in a cloud native, clustered environment.
  • 2+ years of deep experience with Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and administering AWS services, such as S3, EC2 instances, and RDS.
  • In-depth experience applying network concepts and implementation details, from low-level TCP/IP stack, to Virtual Private Cloud Subnets, and gateway device, load balancer, such as AWS ALB.
  • Knowledge and experience with modern programming languages.
  • Experience provisioning and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mastery in containerizing applications using Docker.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Actively participate in team demos.

Highly preferred:

  • At least 2 years experience configuring and managing Docker, DockerHub, Docker Trusted Registry (DTR), and K8s.
  • In-depth experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.

Work Type:

  • Remote.
  • May require up to 10% travel.

Salary Range:

  • $110,000 - $180,000.
  • The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities.
