*Job Title:** Utility Person - Food & Beverage

**Job Summary:**
The Utility Person is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and stockroom areas. This role involves assisting with food preparation and ensuring the overall upkeep of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to create a safe and efficient work environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Service:** Greet guests warmly and assist with their requests to ensure a positive experience.
- **Cleaning and Sanitation:** Regularly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, surfaces, dining areas, and restrooms.
- **Trash Management:** Empty trash bins regularly and maintain cleanliness around trash areas.
- **Stock Management:** Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Keep storage areas organized and clean.
- **Food Preparation Assistance:** Support food preparation tasks while following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- **Maintenance Reporting:** Report maintenance issues to the manager on duty promptly.
- **Inventory Guidelines:** Adhere to established inventory guidelines for your location.
- **Safety and Security:** Monitor the location for suspicious activity and report emergencies to 911. Do not attempt to stop theft or robbery.
- **Professional Conduct:** Exhibit respect towards co-workers, and uphold company policies regarding INTEGRITY, SAFETY, and EFFICIENCY.
**Personal Appearance:**
Maintain a professional appearance with no visible obscene tattoos or distracting piercings. Hair should be natural and styled professionally. Makeup must be modest, and males should be clean-shaven or keep facial hair trimmed to ¼ inch. Acrylic nails are not permitted; modest nail polish and jewelry (watch and ring) are allowed. Uniforms must be clean and pressed before each shift. Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back in a bun or ponytail.
**Physical and Hourly Requirements:**
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
- Expected 100% attendance, except for approved time-off.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to reach above shoulder height and bend as needed.
- Mobility across the assigned store, airport, and employee parking lot.
