Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties, including payroll and executive support-related tasks. Able to work independently with little or no supervision. Responsibilities
- Prepares and processes the firm's weekly payroll, manages on- and off-boarding of employees, and runs related reports.
- Defines procedures for retaining, protecting, retrieving, and disposing of payroll records.
- Assists the HR Manager with benefits administration and events.
- Oversees scheduling for administrative staff to ensure attorney coverage.
- Develops and updates office policies in collaboration with HR.
- Manages the general administration of the Boston office, including meetings, events, procurement, and facilities management.
- Provides administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Coordinates with the IT department for office equipment management.
- Proven knowledge of payroll regulations and software.
- Office management and administrative experience.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Paycom.
- Knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
- College degree preferred.
- Experience in law firms or professional services is a plus.
