We’re looking for a dedicated Area Team Leader to join us in delivering our vision: Pioneering support in an accessible, inclusive community.

Role : Area Team Leader
Location: Dorchester, Hybrid (with travel to other sites)
Contract : Full Time, Permanent
Salary : £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and support Team Leaders to deliver exceptional care and support services.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulations, including CQC standards, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  3. Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with individuals and their support networks.
  4. Manage staffing, training, and performance to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  5. Support the induction process for new staff, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  6. Facilitate team development sessions to promote continuous learning and team cohesion.
  7. Participate in on-call duties and emergency response management.

About You:

  1. QCF Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience in social care (preferably with LD or MH).
  2. Strong understanding of care standards, regulatory requirements, and service improvement.
  3. Experience with budget management, staff mentoring, and quality monitoring.
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to travel across multiple locations and hold a valid driving license.
