We're looking for someone who is passionate about Sales and Cyber Security, who loves to hustle and understands working with the nuances of a startup. The Global Sales Head would be part of our Leadership - working closely with the Founder, Board Members, Leaders, while managing and hustling with the team. Someone who is enthusiastic, has great network and connections in the industry, is strategically inclined, with problem solving capabilities, analytical ability, bonds well with the team and high on integrity.
Job Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for driving performance against plan and critical breakthrough objectives including top line sales, pricing strategies, new customer acquisition, new product sales and P&L performance across the enterprise
- Establish business go-to-market channels, considering the mix of direct sales, rep agencies, distributors, system integrators, and ODM relationships
- Lead strategic engagement with key customers for feedback on product design, customer service, post-sales support, and operational performance;
- Lead the growth of the sales opportunities funnel
- Provide key input into SIOP and quarterly financial forecasts. Support development of annual budget
- Support development and deployment of Strategic Plan
- Establish businesses performance measures; lead cross functional teams on the execution of priorities, and provide direction for modification in work plans or implementation of contingency plans as business conditions change
- Develop and lead the sales team by means of recruitment, performance management, talent development, mentoring in line with company guidelines and values
- Liaise closely with peers in Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR and other functional areas to get results and drive continuous improvement
- Prior Startup experience required, B2B Saas
- Great network and connections in the Cyber Security world, understands the domain in and out
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field
- Ideally, 12+ years leading a global business development teams with extensive P&L knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales and business development, marketing principles, product or service management, along with a consistent track record of success and performance
- Demonstrated successful track record of managing global customers
- Strong financial competence with proven skills in managing a P&L budget
- Superior written/oral communication skills, as well as the ability to present their views in a clear and compelling manner
- Demonstrated leadership presence who works well within all levels of the organisation and key external partners
- Ability to constructively reconcile differences in an open and positive manner while adhering to cross-cultural sensitivity and experience who can earn the respect of a diverse and international workforce
- Ability to empower the team and align teams towards a common strategy
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a hustle-mode business environment.
