Description
Spark Academy is a co-ed, residential treatment program for adolescents, specializing in neurodiversity. Our philosophy is first treating the trauma and anxiety from a life with high-functioning Autism, paving the way for increased self-regulation and competency! We provide a full continuum of care with separate, distinct residential settings, where we can laser focus on each students’ unique treatment progression.
We currently seek to hire a Program Director for Spark Academy to oversee programmatic design of the residential settings and continuum of care. We will hire a candidate who demonstrates level-4 leadership, with demonstrated skills in strategic planning, direction, and training. This position requires innovation, with a clear vision to produce higher performance standards in helping our students and families have a successful future.

Schedule:
- Full-time, exempt. Monday – Friday, with typical business hours to attend standard appointments and meetings during the week.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide level-4 leadership for Spark Academy, working with other Academy Directors to develop, implement, and achieve plans that are cohesive with corporate’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Align Spark Academy’s goals and future growth with the programmatic design of the residential settings and continuum of care.
- Identify critical issues or trends, and cultivate strategic solutions in a timely manner.
- Provide direction and training for mid-level leaders within the Academy.
- Manage a budget, having sound judgement and vision to contribute to the overall company’s financial success.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellence in innovation with the ability to execute plans, knowing how to be attuned to the people and business you serve to weave culture and results.
- A high sense of personal integrity and transparency with the ability to lead up and down the chain of command.
- Highly developed and flexible leadership styles to manage and train a diverse department.
- Competency of the residential treatment industry, including awareness of mental health and education.
- Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation.
- Calculated financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision making, and reporting.
- Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy.
- Effective and professional communication skills, both oral and written.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years’ senior management experience preferred.
- Leadership experience within the residential treatment industry will be given preference.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or similar field.
- Willing to consider a Bachelor’s degree with significant experience.
- Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
