**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Level 3 or 4

**Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years in Level 3 or 4 NICU
- Experienced in handling high-frequency oscillators, conventional ventilators, SiPAP, NIPPV, and bubble CPAP
- Proficiency in managing multiple drips/medications
- Skilled in using PICC, UAC/UVC
**License:** Valid Registered Nurse License
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to handle changes during shifts concerning patients and unit needs
- Experience with admitting 23-28 week Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW) infants
- Proficient in discharging patients with complex needs
- Willingness to work over holidays (either Christmas Eve and Day OR New Year's Eve and Day, plus Thanksgiving or the day after)
**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive care for critically ill neonates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Monitor and adjust intricate life-support systems including high-frequency oscillators and conventional ventilators
- Administer medications and manage drips in synch with NICU protocols
- Skillfully place and maintain central lines such as PICC, UAC, and UVC
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to adapt to patient and unit needs
- Perform detailed assessments and execute care plans for VLBW infants
- Coordinate and ensure safe discharge planning for patients with complex health care needs
- Participate in continuous education to maintain up-to-date knowledge in neonatal care practices
