Responsibilities
The Senior Java Developer should have experience with the design and implementation of JEE software applications using modern software engineering tools such as Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), JDeveloper, NetBeans, and JIRA for design, development, and testing of the software. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
Required Skills
- Experience using Eclipse
- Good communication skills (writing and presenting)
- Strong initiative: must be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications, and get the job done.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, tight-deadline environment
- Superior written and oral communication skills are essential
- Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively and work comfortably in an ever-changing data environment.
- Must work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels.
