In this function, the Planning and Control Analyst will use business process management, SaaS, and BI tools to accomplish improvement objectives and business results.Responsibilities:Supports procurement initiatives pertaining to data management, business intelligence, workflow, and digital transformationDevelops innovative, collaborative solutions that improve work efficiency and support decision makingEvaluate existing business processes and suggest improvementsCreate documentation outlining process improvementsConduct ongoing Analysis to monitor and assess various processesHelp train teams in implementation of new processesCoordinates research and analysis on various datasets, delivers reports, identifying critical issues and action plans across the organizationUpdate and document department procedures and policiesBuild reports and tools for upper management using various software such as Power BIProvides analytical support to department and senior managementMaintains detailed knowledge on market developments regarding process management, automation, mobility, business intelligence, analytics, knowledge management, data structure designInterface with engineering, construction, asset management, development, lean/Corporate Initiatives team individuals both internally and externally.Utilize statistics and dashboards to improve procurement department performanceWrite ad-hoc queries in SQL and python to capture data for analysis.Develop software tools to analyze department performance using Power BI, SQL, and pythonPerform ad-hoc forward-looking analyses on performance milestones.Performs other related duties and special projects as required.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in a technical field; Masters degree preferred3-5 years of professional experience in renewables, construction or oil and gasWork experience in a related field preferred; previous business consulting and/or technical project management experience is a plus.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, particularly ExcelMust be proficient with SQL, Python, VBA, SSRS, and Power BIExperience with Microsoft Azure big data analytics and cloud computing is highly desirable.Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication,Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise.
