The Position

Change can be challenging, yet you as a Change Manager make it easier by playing a pivotal role in organizational projects and initiatives, bringing more focus to the people side of change. You are an expert at preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes in organizational structure, business processes, and systems. You are a people-focused person that is comfortable leading conversations, developing strategic initiatives, and implementing systems: to minimize resistance, maximize adoption, and achieve results!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness, identify key stakeholders from a people and process perspective.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan.
  • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyze and minimize risks, resistance to change.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of important communications.
  • Work with trainers to develop programs that help employees understand and adapt to change.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Work with project managers and technical teams to coordinate and integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Manage product and development plans with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of organization change management activities; propose actions that resolve any obstacles.
  • Provide clear, streamlined, written and oral readouts as relates to milestones, status, risks, achievements, processes, methods, technologies and proposed solutions.
  • Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external contacts and vendors at all levels.
  • May occasionally require flexibility in availability outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines and business needs.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 3+ years' experience managing end to end change in people, processes, and business systems; Hands-on experience identifying change problems at an early stage and effectively solving; Proven experience in working in project teams and executing a change program; Change management certification a plus (PROSCI, ITIL, etc).
