Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a client in the Sugar Hill, GA area that is looking to add an ESG Specialist to their team. The ESG Specialist will play a critical role in developing and implementing their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) program, which includes creating policies, safety manuals, and conducting audits. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and safety within the workplace.


Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement an effective ESG program

• Formulate and enforce company’s ESG policies

• Create detailed safety manuals to ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards

• Implement mandatory training programs for employees on ESG principles and safety measures

• Conduct regular audits to evaluate the efficacy of the ESG program

• Maintain bilingual communication in both Spanish and English for diverse workforce understanding

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and standards

• Regularly update the ESG program to meet evolving environmental and sustainability requirements

• Record and report OSHA related incidents and maintain OSHA logs

• Collaborate with different teams to promote and integrate ESG principles across the organization

• Possess a deep understanding of Environmental Safety and OSHA regulations

• Proficient in OSHA record keeping, reporting, and log maintenance

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and requirements

• Strong knowledge of sustainability practices and principles

• A proven track record in implementing and managing Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) programs

• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations

• Experience in developing and implementing environmental safety measures

• Ability to interpret and apply OSHA standards to real-world situations

• Proficiency in maintaining and updating OSHA logs as required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey safety protocols and procedures.

• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on OSHA standards and regulations.
