This includes:Hybrid work scheduleIndividual Health Insurance Coverage (Medical, Dental and Vision)Life and Accidental Insurance CoverageVacation/ Personal/ Floating Days401K Plan with up to 3% company match$500 monthly car allowanceCompany expense account (take your clients to lunch!)Company laptop and cell phoneAbout the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):Generate new business through cold calling, on average 40 calls per day.Build and maintain a customer base by recognizing freight forwarding business opportunities.Partner with internal subject matter experts to become well educated in all OEC products and services.Offer solutions through OEC Group's services including ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance and customs brokerage.Achieve monthly sales quotas set by the sales management team.Utilize Sugar (CRM) to track client's key information, build and maintain sales pipeline, and measure KPIs.Work closely with the sales support team by reviewing quotes to ensure the client's needs are met.Meet with current and potential clients within assigned territory.Maintain consistent communication with other departments and overseas offices.Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.Work ScheduleNew York Office 9:00 am – 6:00 pm ESTComputer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.QualificationsThis position will cover a geographic area surrounding the OEC Group office the candidate has been hired for.
