We currently have an opening for an Assistant Marketing Manager. The Assistant Marketing Manager will partner in the growth and implementation of the strategic marketing plans for the West Coast portfolio; including retail, office and residential. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and will support business development initiatives and manage programs and promotions to strengthen brand awareness, increase traffic, drive customer engagement and support the unique opportunities and challenges of a dynamic portfolio of assets.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Director of Marketing to develop and implement strategic marketing plans to support property goals and objectives – including sales goals, special events, tenant relations, advertising, etc.
  • Manage social media channels for increased engagement and merchant exposure.
  • Manage the property marketing budgets to track monthly expenses and variances. Identify areas to decrease Landlord Subsidy commitments.
  • Develop merchant communication plans to include merchant meetings, communication vehicles between management and retailers, etc.
  • Complete quarterly and monthly reports including sales analysis, post-event evaluations and quarterly marketing re-caps.
  • Continually evaluate marketing plans and budgets to ensure goals and objectives are consistently being met at the highest level.
  • Provide onsite leadership for special events.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing/business development with a focus on event management required; commercial real estate industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills are a must.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external team members and contacts.
  • Must have excellent organization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent strategic thinking and analysis skills.
  • Must be a creative thinker with strong decision making skills.
  • Requires occasional west coast travel.

Salary Range: The typical base pay range is $75,000-$92,500 per year plus bonus. Salary is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
