Description

Position Summary: The Program Director is responsible for managing up to three houses. Each house has a program manager and between two to four persons served. This position is a key participant in weekly leadership meetings charting the course and progress of the organization. This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and support the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Program Supervision:

  • Oversee programming functions, maintain schedules, and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Provide supervision, training, and coaching to Program Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals.
  • Ensure quality, performance, and efficiency across programs.
  • On-Call for staff issues and emergencies

Compliance and Licensing:

  • Prepare for and participate in annual licensing and relicensing meetings, ensuring overall compliance with 245D requirements.

Relationship Building:

  • Maintain and build positive relationships with persons served and all stakeholders.

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist human resources with completing investigations as needed.

Program Visitation:

  • Spend 60% of work time visiting/supervising programs onsite. Remaining time in office.

Meetings:

  • Facilitate regular meetings with Program Supervisors.
  • Attend monthly supervisor meetings.
  • Attend all scheduled L10 meetings.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in leading/managing staff.
  • Strong knowledge of 245D licensing.
  • Strong background in person-centered planning and support.
  • Experience in strategic planning.
  • Experience in crisis management.
  • Financial management experience.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess program performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of ethical standards and regulatory requirements in the field.
