Job Summary:

We are seeking a GM that can also lead the Organization and Sales team to sustainable, profitable growth reporting directly to the owner. We are looking for an ascending talent with leadership skills to enhance our strategic planning, create functional alignment and focus the organization within a dynamic and collaborative culture. Candidates must have proven sales and leadership experience to help continue our rapid growth and expansion. This pivotal role has P&L responsibility and oversees all functions of the company with an emphasis on sales to enhance both e-commerce and traditional retail channels.


Key Responsibilities:


Associate GM


Strategic & Operational Planning/Execution

  • Development of 3-5 year strategic plans including development of markets and categories
  • Annual planning with identification key levers for growth and profitability along with metrics and actions needed to achieve plan
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly leadership meetings including progress to plan, execution and accountability and planning sessions
  • Achieve top & bottom-line targets


Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, develop and retain key members of the team
  • Performance management and accountability
  • Annual bonus goals
  • Growth of company culture
  • Management of direct reports


Key Relationships

  • Maintain/strengthen key external relationships
  • Target & develop new relationships with strategic partners
  • Strengthen partnership with Paramount Extrusions (sister company)


Director of Sales 


Strategic Leadership and Development:

  • Direct, develop, and implement comprehensive sales strategies to grow company revenue across both e-commerce and traditional retail channels, aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish and communicate sales and marketing targets for the company and individual team members, incorporating specific KPIs and action plans, focusing on Year-over-Year Revenue Growth, Gross Margin Percentage, and New Business Development.


Sales Management and Operations:

  • Develop and coordinate sales objectives, strategies, and promotional programs to gain market share, emphasizing a balanced approach between digital platforms and physical stores.
  • Manage key/national accounts ensuring goals are met across all platforms, maintaining accountability for integrated sales and marketing targets.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts in accordance with company standards and business requirements, considering customer needs and market potential across diverse sales environments.
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and strengthen relationships with major clients through both e-commerce and traditional retail outlets.
  • Represent the company at industry association meetings and trade shows to promote the business, brand, products, and services, ensuring a strong presence in both digital and traditional markets.


Marketing and Promotions:

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing strategies and advertising campaigns tailored to enhance product visibility and market penetration across digital and physical realms.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials and promotional content, ensuring brand consistency across online platforms and in-store promotions.
  • Conduct market research to inform and adjust marketing strategies and campaigns in response to customer trends and preferences across all sales channels.


E-commerce and Traditional Sales Integration:

  • Spearhead the expansion and optimization of the e-commerce business alongside enhancing traditional retail sales effectiveness.
  • Utilize website and in-store sales data to inform and adjust overarching sales strategies, ensuring seamless integration between online activities and physical store executions.
  • Develop data-driven strategies to enhance user experiences across digital platforms and in-store, aiming to increase sales conversions and customer retention.
  • Ensure effective data flow and integration between online sales metrics and traditional sales analytics to facilitate comprehensive strategic decisions.


Training and Development:

  • Develop SOPs for all sales and marketing-related activities with specific adaptations for e-commerce and traditional sales environments.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and mentor sales and marketing team members, ensuring they are equipped with necessary skills for digital and physical sales through continuous education and workshops.
  • Institute a development and mentoring program to foster talent within the sales and marketing teams, emphasizing cross-channel capabilities.


Market Analysis and Forecasting:

  • Conduct comprehensive market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, and develop pricing schedules and discount rates for both online and offline sales.
  • Responsible for robust sales and marketing forecasting that includes detailed analysis of both e-commerce metrics and traditional retail trends.


Requirements and Skills:

  • BS/MS degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; substantial industry experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales and marketing representative or manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, with a proven record in managing both online and traditional sales channels. Prior GM experience or equivalent experience beneficial
  • Strong business acumen with a proven record of success in the entire sales and marketing process, across both digital and physical platforms.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills, with a commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
