CraneWerks is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales through our distributor network by supporting our sales team, setting and achieving sales goals, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

As our National Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide support and guidance to fellow associates, especially direct reports, to ensure their success.
  • Utilize above-average Excel skills to analyze sales data and update sales reports regularly.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and priority setting skills to maximize sales productivity.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development within the industry.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Think creatively and strategically to differentiate CraneWerks’ proposals from the competition.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and dealers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and advertising strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Make site visits to review projects and provide dealer training.
  • Quote custom and standard products and installations.
  • Set clear expectations with customers and ensure timely delivery of proposals and equipment.
  • Ensure a seamless handoff for projects to operations to ensure expectations are met.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, gross margins, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work closely with the Operations team on special projects, installations, and deliveries.

Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven track record in sales management and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including bridge cranes, jib cranes, gantry cranes, and related products.
  • Above-average Excel skills and proficiency in sales data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer visits and industry events.
