The McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program helps support education, child development and food security in low-income, food-deficit countries around the globe.
The incumbent will serve as an Evaluator and is responsible for providing day-to-day monitoring and evaluation support to food assistance programs in GP. Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement, including specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
TO QUALIFY AT THE GS-12 LEVEL: Applicants must have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-11 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates all of the following:
- Utilizing research methods to review quantitative and qualitative evaluation of international capacity building programs.
- Assisting with the review of evaluation proposals, evaluation plans, performance monitoring plans, evaluation terms of references, baseline survey reports, and/or evaluation reports of international capacity building programs.
- Assisting with the review and development of monitoring and evaluation standard operating procedures, technical guidance documents, and/or handbooks based on demonstrated knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures (e.g., Government Performance and Results Act, Foreign Assistance Transparency and Accountability Act, and/or the Global Food Security Act).
