Position Summary

Lincoln Electric Products Co. Inc. seeks a Project Manager- Switchgear to join its dynamic team. This role is available immediately and provides a great growth opportunity for the right candidate.

It is a full-time, exempt position, and the candidate will report directly to the Project Manager Supervisor.

The successful candidate will provide post-sales support for various electrical distribution projects and ensure the project deliverables are presented on time and to the customer's satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be Inside Sales And Project Management Of Electrical Distribution Equipment, including Panelboards, Switchboards, Circuit Breakers, and Voltage Regulators

The individual will plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the designated project to ensure that the project's goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Performs all work within an established time frame and ensures that work is done in conformance with quality work standards, projected man-hours, within established Company guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements.

Job Functions

  • Reviewing outgoing engineering submittal drawings for technical and contractual accuracy.
  • Evaluating and interpreting customer specifications and drawings to create an accurate bill of materials.
  • Providing phone support and direct interaction with customers and employees to obtain sales
  • Preparing bid proposals and quotations for field salesmen and customers.
  • Reviewing returned drawings and submittals of same, analyzing and processing mark-up/comments, and communicating changes to the relevant departments.
  • Review contract documents and interpret technical specifications to ensure product compliance and prepare change order pricing and quotations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the completion of Short Circuit and Coordination Studies (studies performed by outside Professional Engineers).
  • Negotiating bids to obtain purchase orders.
  • Releasing equipment for production and delivery to an in-house shop
  • Coordinating deliveries with customers
  • Enter orders into the company EPR software system.
  • Order long lead time major materials/components for the project
  • Perform field visits on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide post-sales support for equipment (technical support, warranty claims, etc.)
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to solve technical challenges and determine optimal solutions.

Basic Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in, preferably in engineering, business, or project management
  • Minimum five years experience in Project Management Implementation, Project Planning, and Budgeting in the electrical construction or Electrical Contractor
  • Experience in the electrical field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent work ethic.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Customer Service.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with electrical power systems
  • Prior use of project management software
  • Experience with VBA code and/or MS Office automation.
