Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Balance Sheet Management Senior Lead Analyst for its New York, NY location.

Duties:

  1. Oversee the Treasury Forecasting and Planning function for the Markets businesses, including governance, developing analytics and managing liquidity, funding, interest rate and capital risks.
  2. Execute in-depth analysis of Markets analytics, including variance analysis, stress testing, and analysis of business activities impact on interest rate risk, funding, liquidity and capital.
  3. Deliver and enhance scenario testing.
  4. Perform analysis to determine accuracy of current and forecasted capital and liquidity requirements.
  5. Communicate the risk associated with liquidity, capital and interest rates across different levels and groups and be relied upon to help manage accordingly.
  6. Partner across Finance and the business to ensure a consistent understanding of liquidity and funding risk around new initiatives and escalate concerns as appropriate.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Engineering (any), or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the Financial Risk Management industry in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include:

  1. Providing in-depth analytical support, both quantitative and qualitative, regarding key focus areas including stress testing assumptions and projections (Resolution and Recovery, CCAR), liquidity and funding regulatory metrics (LCR, NSFR), and impacts of business activity and market condition on liquidity, capital and funding risks.
  2. Developing and maintaining models and tools to support liquidity, funding or balance sheet management, monitoring and decision-making.
  3. Utilizing qualitative and quantitative analyses to determine how to efficiently manage liquidity, capital and funding risk in different market environments.
  4. Developing and ensuring proper governance and controls for liquidity, funding or capital risk management.
  5. Partnering with other departments and functions, such as business desks and other Finance teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration across regions on liquidity, funding or balance sheet management initiatives.
