Express Care Medical Assistant

Looking for a rewarding career? We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and passionate Medical Assistant for our brand-new Express Care Clinic in the West Shore.
As an Express Care Medical Assistant, you will be expected to:

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and by phone.
• Ensure smooth clinic operations by coordinating patient flow.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist providers with minor procedures.
• Document patient information in the Electronic Health Record.
• Perform basic lab tests, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assist in emergency situations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms.

We are seeking Express Care Medical Assistants for flexible schedules, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am and 7:30 pm. Full-time positions involve three 12-hour shifts, either at the start or end of the week. Weekend and holiday availability is required as needed. We may also offer part-time opportunities to cover extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma or GED and must have completed an accredited Medical Assisting program. You must have at least 6 months of full-time Medical Assistant experience and have an active CPR/AED certification. Those with previous experience working at a FQHC or community health center, urgent care, or high-volume clinic will be preferred as well those who hold an active Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) certification. This position pays between $20-21 per hour.
