CME Associates, a leading engineering consulting firm in Parlin, NJ, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Director of MEP Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems for various projects. This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Develop and design mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee the mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget constraints, and deadlines.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct simulations, stress analyses, and calculations to ensure mechanical systems meet safety and performance standards.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and OSHA.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, civil engineers, and architects, to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in consulting or construction.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design software.
  • Licenses and Certifications: PE certification required.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
