The Work:

The SAP Functional Consultant is responsible for analysis, build and configuration of SAP to meet business process and application requirements related to the client's business process(es). The SAP Functional Consultant will work closely with architects, developers, technical services teams and the client to perform job functions and responsibilities and/or activities, minding integration between activities and other sub-teams to ensure efficiency. Responsibilities include:

  1. Maintenance, enhancement and or development work of SAP modules and those that interface with other applications
  2. Development of functional solution and application design, build, and test
  3. Development of detailed business process designs and associated documentation
  4. Development of detailed configuration rationales and designs as well as system configuration build
  5. Design and documentation, test models and scripts, etc.

Here’s What You Need:

  1. 1 year of SAP business analysis experience supporting one or more of the following modules: MM (Materials Management), IM (Inventory Management), WM (Warehouse Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning & Control), PM (Plant Maintenance), Spending Chain Reimbursables. US Citizen (no dual citizenship)
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of SAP business analysis experience
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

  1. SAP functional/configuration experience; DoD or Public Sector SAP experience a plus
  2. S4/HANA Delivery experience
  3. Experience with any of these SAP modules: Asset Management (EAM), Finance (FI), Funds Management (FM), Controlling/Cost Management (CO), Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management/Warehouse Management (IMWM), Project Systems (PS), Sales and Distribution/Reimbursables (SD), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  4. Client-facing experience

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits.


The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$62,100—$120,000 USD
