Job Requirements / Description

Act as a liaison between our sales team and our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Sales Account Executive specializing in seafood sales, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should also act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sale process from beginning to end. Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company-client relationships at a high standard.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  2. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  3. Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
  4. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  5. Coordinate with customers to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times) by greeting and directing customer requests.
  6. Provide accurate information (e.g., product features, pricing, and after-sales services).
  7. Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing.
  8. Service and manage existing customer accounts and merchandise returns.
  9. Inform customers about discounts and special offers, keeping up to date with new products/services.
  10. Maintain complete knowledge of products and services and increase sales by studying market trends.
  11. Manage accounts receivable and increase gross profit.
  12. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  13. Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
  14. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  15. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  16. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  17. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  18. Obtain orders and establish new accounts by calling on existing or potential sales outlets and assisting with account opening documents.
  19. Submit orders by referring to price lists and products.
  20. Keep good relationships with customers for long-term business.
  21. Troubleshoot issues with customers.
  22. Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  23. Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas.
  24. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  25. Keep track of own expenses (mileage, parking fee, toll fee, etc.).
  26. Perform other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role.
  2. Remarkable sales experience in the food industry, specializing in seafood.
  3. Proficiency in English/Chinese/Japanese is a must.
  4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  5. Passionate about healthy organic, fair trade, and sustainable foods.
  6. Ability to regularly call on existing and potential customers and manage pricing and monitor credit term compliance.
  7. Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
  8. Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  9. Fast learner and passion for sales.
  10. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  11. Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  12. High school degree.
  13. Experience in dealings involving market/culture.
