JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Director is responsible for managing all marketing strategies throughout the entire company and assisting in various tasks simultaneously, providing additional assistance to the sales, finance, and administration team. Ensuring outstanding marketing tactics that will maximize sales profit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Administer marketing strategies by working with management to develop the best advertising options on a month-to-month basis
- Manage company online websites, ensuring business etiquette and professionalism are conducted and enforced
- Maintain and assist all third-party marketing vendors, by providing clear communication and accurate information
- Recommend, implement, and provide marketing plans or tactics that generate more sales units and profit
- Manage, develop, and implement SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) best practices, and determine appropriate follow-up options
- Supervise, train, and manage the performance of sales & marketing, ensuring proper sales & marketing protocols are followed. Assist and participate in sales operations as needed.
- Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner
- Oversee general sales and marketing operations to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed
- Work directly with the vice president to develop and monitor the sales & marketing budget, and may be assigned additional assignments/duties occasionally
- Crosstrain on various sales and general tasks to provide effective teamwork and productivity
- May be assigned special projects/assignments directed by the Vice President
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

- Maintain professional appearance in accordance with the employee handbook
- Handle customer complaints immediately and in accordance with the dealership’s standards
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Expected to arrive at work on time and work the required shift
- Follow instructions from the supervisor
- Interact effectively with co-workers
- Receive feedback from the supervisor in a positive manner
- Lead and manage others well
- Take part in manager meetings, if invited.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Work experience in marketing or related fields, including effective leadership experience
- Demonstrate knowledge and a deep understanding of automotive marketing and sales operations
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Reynolds & Reynolds
- Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Understand and follow work rules, policies, and procedures
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field. Dealership experience preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass drug screening. Background checks are also required.
