Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg in Charleston, SC

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend and holiday rotation
**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks
**Experience:** 1 year required, first-timers accepted
**License:** South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
**Certifications:** BLS
**Must-Have:** Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs or float between similar units
**Job Description:**
- Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Provide patient care in a 16-bed adult Medical Surgical unit, specializing in a diverse mix of medical/surgical/post-surgical patients including those with highly infectious diseases.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:5 depending on staffing.
- Charge RN assignment may involve free float or handling one patient.
- No on-call requirement.
- Open to accommodating block schedules with manager’s approval.
- Support emergency response teams during hurricane season, if assigned.
- Expected to complete 16 hours of orientation and required non-billable modules pre-start.
- Work in a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory flu vaccination (medical/religious exemptions considered).
- Expected to work with EPIC charting systems and adhere to facility's scrub color requirements (solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms).
